The Allen-Bradley 1746-IB16 is a 16-point DC sink (sinking/NPN) digital input module engineered for the SLC 500 PLC family. It accepts 24V DC signals from field devices such as proximity sensors, limit switches, push buttons, and photoelectric sensors wired in sinking (NPN) configuration.

With group isolation and individual LED indicators, the module ensures dependable signal monitoring and simplified troubleshooting in industrial environments. Its rugged design and seamless integration with SLC 500 chassis make it a preferred choice for panel builders, OEMs, and maintenance teams upgrading or maintaining legacy Rockwell systems.
