The SICES GC250 Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Genset Controller, Part Number E6112156100, is a compact and versatile generator controller designed for single standby gensets and automatic start applications. It provides automatic monitoring of the utility mains and generator supply and can initiate generator operation when a mains failure condition is detected.
The GC250 combines engine monitoring, alternator protection, electrical measurement and automatic generator control in a compact controller. It supports three-phase mains and generator voltage sensing together with three current-transformer inputs and True RMS measurements for parameters such as kW, kVA, kVAr, power factor and energy.
For engine integration, the SICES GC250 can interface with conventional engines using an MPU as well as electronic engines through CAN J1939 communication. Configurable digital and analogue inputs and outputs allow the controller to be adapted to different genset configurations and monitoring requirements.
The integrated 128 × 64 LCD display provides clear visual indication of operating status, warnings and alarms. USB connectivity allows configuration and firmware updating, while the controller's event/data logging capability helps with troubleshooting and generator maintenance.
