The Allen-Bradley Guardmaster 440R-S12R2 GSR SI Safety Relay is a compact industrial safety monitoring relay designed for machine safety applications. It provides a 24V DC control supply, one dual-channel universal safety input, two normally-open safety outputs and a solid-state auxiliary output.
The 440R-S12R2 is designed for applications such as emergency-stop circuits, safety gate/interlock monitoring, position switches, magnetic switches, proximity devices, valves and compatible optoelectronic safety equipment. Rockwell Automation specifies two undelayed safety contact outputs and one undelayed solid-state signalling output.
The unit supports automatic/manual or manual monitored reset, feedback monitoring, DIN-rail mounting and removable screw terminals. Its safety performance is specified up to PL e and SIL 3, making it suitable for appropriately designed and validated industrial machine-safety systems.
